EV6 warranty issue - dealer can’t seem to fix

We have a 2023 GT-Line, and it keeps showing “check lane assist” and “check forward collision function” warnings on the dash. It’s been at the dealer for 3 months now, and driving it is beyond frustrating. The issue keeps happening despite their attempts to fix it.

Our case was escalated, but it hasn’t helped much. A tech comes by the dealership every few weeks, tells them to try something, they order parts, install them, and then the problem still isn’t solved. We’re then back to waiting another three weeks for the tech’s next visit.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue or found a way to get help beyond standard escalation?

I’d suggest contacting Kia corporate and filing a formal complaint.

It might be time to look into hiring a lemon law lawyer.

Check out your state’s lemon laws. This situation might qualify.

I’ve had so many issues with my EV6 since buying it in summer ‘22, mostly charging-related, and the voice features have become unusable. I usually just rely on Android Auto now. Really disappointing for such an expensive car. Almost traded it in twice already. Here’s a lawsuit I came across that might be relevant:

Definitely sounds like it’s Lemon Law time! It’s worth the effort in cases like these.
