About 8 months ago, I got a 2022 Wind without the Tech Package (I didn’t know about the difference) with only 3,000 miles on it for $35,000. I did have an issue where the A/C stopped working during the summer, but after the ICCU software update, it’s been fine.
I think $29k is a good deal. You might want to try negotiating down another $3,000 if possible.
I paid $42k during the peak prices for the same car, except mine didn’t have a cracked headlight or anything.
I feel your pain. The used EV market has dropped recently. I ended up walking away from the deal. They were only going to give me $5K for my 2018 VW Tiguan, and they wouldn’t budge on the price.

Yeah, forget that deal. Fixing that headlight would’ve probably cost a lot anyway.
I’ve got a guy who does bodywork for cheap, so the headlight wasn’t the biggest issue. But since they wouldn’t drop the price and offered so little for my trade-in, I walked away. I’ll just sell the VW privately—I should be able to get $11K for it.
I’d look into some of the crazy lease deals if they’re still available. I’ve got a 2022 Wind AWD with the Tech Package, and it’s my favorite car out of 15 I’ve owned, including some exotics.
