Two weeks in with my used 2023 GT-Line, and I’m loving it!
But given the common issues with the 12-volt battery and ICCU, I have a couple of questions:
Is there a way to know if the ICCU was replaced before I bought it? All updates are done, but I’m not sure if they actually replaced the ICCU or just updated it.
For those who have had the ICCU replaced, is it a lasting fix, or have there been more issues later?
You can do a VIN check for recalls—if it’s still listed, then it hasn’t been done. I haven’t personally heard of anyone still having the issue after a replacement, though I’m sure at least one case might pop up just by chance.
@Connie
I checked, and it shows 0 recalls pending. From what I’ve gathered, they only replace the ICCU if it actually failed, otherwise they just do the software update.
