Is the FitcamX still the top dash cam for the EV6?

About a year ago, I was really impressed by the FitcamX dash cam, especially after seeing it on Technically Jeff’s channel. I’m now looking to add a dash cam to my EV6 GT Line S 2022. Is the FitcamX still one of the top choices for this car?

I’m after that OEM look, and the image quality seems solid. Haven’t seen much footage from the rear cam, though. If you were buying today, what would you pick?

Based in the UK, for EV6 GT Line S 2022.

I recently got a Kenwood dash cam with a rear camera option. The video quality is really good, and it’s been super reliable so far. It also uses a capacitor instead of a lithium battery, which I prefer because my previous cams didn’t last long due to the lithium packs failing. I mounted it by the rear-view mirror using an adapter kit that powers it from the mirror itself. It’s a pretty clean setup, though not as seamless-looking as the FitcamX.

Honestly, most dash cams nowadays use similar sensors, so beyond a certain price, you won’t see a huge difference in video quality. I think the FitcamX stands out mainly because of the OEM look. I don’t own one yet, but when my current cam gives out, I’ll definitely be going for a FitcamX.
