I just got a new EV, and one of the main reasons I chose it was for free charging at my office building, using an Enel X Juicebox with a pin. I tried using the promo code, but the app just gives me error code 12500.
I’ve tried calling customer service, but there’s no response, and I can’t seem to find a North America support number. I do see other cars plugged in and charging—anyone have ideas on what I should try next?
Enel X shut down its North America operations. They said the EVSE units would become ‘dumb chargers,’ meaning you should be able to just plug in and charge without using the app.

Since that announcement, the company managing the shutdown has kept servers up temporarily, at least for residential customers and maybe for commercial too, while they look for buyers for the assets.
