The EV6 GT is an absolute beast, especially after 60 mph. It pulls like a powerful ICE car and just keeps going. I’m excited for the 2025 updates—better interior, upgraded powertrain, and ventilated seats. I might lease another EV6 GT after mine ends.
I initially wanted the Mach-E because I’ve always driven Fords. While it had more headroom, my knee kept hitting the screen. Plus, the glass roof without shade protection was a dealbreaker. When I test drove the EV6, it was night and day. Coming from an F-150, I wanted to like the Lightning, but the price wasn’t justifiable. I’m 100% happy with my EV6!
Technically, the EV6 doesn’t have paddle shifters for gears—they’re for adjusting regen levels. Still, I liked both the Mach-E and EV6 when I tested them. I went with the EV6 because I got a better deal, but I thought they were pretty comparable overall. The Mach-E is a bit roomier if you need to haul stuff.

Actually, the owner’s manual calls them paddle shifters, even though they don’t shift gears. I use them for regen every day in my other car.
Ah, so they’re ‘shifting’ the regen levels? Makes sense!

I agree with most of your points, but the EV6 has a way more exciting acceleration in sport mode. The Mach-E didn’t give me the same thrill.
When I test drove the EV6, I floored it in sport mode, and my son said, ‘I didn’t like that!’ afterward. LOL.
One of the best things about the E-GMP platform cars (like the EV6) is how easy it is to change drive modes with a button. I heard you can use voice commands to change modes in the Mach-E, but I haven’t tested that myself.
