Every time I hit freeway speeds, I notice this fluttering sound coming from the back of my car. At first, I thought it was the temporary paper license plate, but even with the metal plate on now, the noise is still there. Could it be the active air flap, or is something else going on? Has anyone else taken this to the dealer for a check?
That’s probably the cabin vent. It’s a quirk with these cars, located at the rear. It’s meant to flap open and relieve pressure when you close a door.

I didn’t bother fixing it, but once I knew what it was, I felt better about it.
The active air flap is actually in the front, so it’s unlikely to cause noise in the back.
In my case, it was the rear seat belt buckle hitting the seat. I tucked it between the seat cushions, and that solved it.
Haha, I thought the same thing at first when I got my EV6. Seems like a common experience!
Oh, I had a rattle issue up front. If you scrape the bottom front of the car on a high curb, it can loosen the plastic shield right below the bumper. Mine was missing a few rivets and rattled for weeks. I ended up using zip ties to hold it until I could replace the rivets or have the dealer fix it.
