Which one is known to be the most unreliable?
@olivia
Honestly, modern cars are generally quite reliable, especially with today’s manufacturing standards. Feels like the old reliability issues are a thing of the past.

Haha, but I kind of want my Italian car to have a little bit of that unreliability charm. It’s part of the experience!
What even qualifies as Italian nowadays? It’s kinda complicated, right? For example, the Jeep Avenger. It’s technically an American brand, designed in Italy, using a French EV platform, but produced in Poland. So where does it really fall?
@martin
I guess when people ask about Italian EVs, they mean cars from brands like FIAT, Lancia, Ferrari, etc. But yeah, just because it’s an Italian brand doesn’t always mean it’s made in Italy anymore.
@Gabriel
What if a Chinese company builds an EV in Italy? Is that more ‘Italian’ than an Italian brand building a car in Poland? These things are tricky.
@martin
Good point. I hadn’t really thought about it like that. I guess I was just thinking about any brand or model with some connection to Italy, given how interconnected everything has become.
I’ve mainly been following brands like Toyota, Hyundai, VW, Nissan, so I’m curious about how the Italian side is developing now.
Please don’t buy them.
With love,
An Italian
