Hey everyone, hoping someone here can help me out.
I’ve got a US Tesla Model 3, but I’m living in Europe. The car’s charge port doesn’t match the CCS2 ports used here, so I got an adapter to convert EU CCS2 to my car’s port. It works fine at Greenway public chargers, but when I try it at Tesla Superchargers, it won’t charge.
At home, I use a type 2 adapter without any issues, but when I try public type 2 chargers with the same adapter, it trips the station every time.
I’m stuck only being able to use Greenway chargers. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any advice would be appreciated!

Could you ask the service center if they can swap your charging port to a CCS2? Not sure if Tesla offers this, but it might solve the problem.
Yes, they do in some places, like in New Zealand for imported Japanese models with NACS. It might be required for compatibility with local CCS2 Superchargers. Otherwise, you might end up in the same situation you’re having now.
It might have something to do with Tesla’s payment system on the Superchargers. EU Superchargers likely use a local customer database to authorize charges quickly, and since your vehicle info isn’t in the EU system, it might not recognize you for billing.
