Got a 2024 EV6 GTL AWD with about 1400 miles on it, and it was completely dead this morning. Couldn’t even unlock the doors. The EV battery was at around 60% last night.
Could this be the 12v battery? I thought they fixed that with the ICCU for the 2024 models. Roadside service is on the way, and they’ll probably just jump it. If it starts up, should I push for them to take it to the dealer anyway?

Just grab yourself a jumper pack, no need for roadside assistance.
Will the 12v battery charge fully once the car is running? And if I take it to the dealer, will they actually ‘fix’ anything or just jump it and send me home?
@Ronald
If the ICCU is working fine, then yes, it’ll charge the 12v. If the ICCU is the issue, you’ll need the jumper pack to keep it alive long enough to drive it to the dealer.

Only the dealer can diagnose ICCU issues, right? It’s weird—jumped it, started easily, and no warnings about the 12v battery.

Can anyone share a link for one of these jumper packs? Thanks in advance!
This brand is a bit pricier but is known for being safe (no sparks, can’t connect it backward, etc.). Mechanics and roadside services use it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015TKPT1A
Mine did the same thing 8 months ago. They said it got stuck in an update. It happened again this week. The first time, my car was in the shop for 22 days. This time, they still have it. They’ll tell you to get a battery and jump it, but that’s not a long-term solution. I’m starting the buyback process and calling it a lemon. Love the car, but I don’t feel safe anymore.
