My local shopping complex is installing some Electrify America chargers. I recently bought my first EV, a 2024 Mini Cooper, about a month ago. I mainly charge at home, but I’m curious—can I charge my Mini at one of these chargers?
Yes, you should be able to. Your Mini has the standard CCS charge port, so it should work just fine at Electrify America chargers.
Since your Mini uses a CCS port, it’ll work at Electrify America just like most other EVs. Just download the Electrify America app, make an account, and give it a try. If it doesn’t work, it’s more likely the station is down rather than your car being incompatible.
