I’m interested in subscribing to use features like remote start, but the prices are pretty high. Does anyone know if Kia Connect plans ever go on sale, maybe around Black Friday?
Honestly, I doubt it. If people are already subscribing and paying, there’s not much incentive for them to run a sale. I wouldn’t expect to see a discount anytime soon—maybe in a few years, if at all.
Also, it’s worth mentioning the security concerns with Kia Connect. Kia says they’ve patched the issues, but there are still reports of EV6s being stolen in London using the same vulnerabilities.

That flaw affects all Kia cars, not just the ones with a paid subscription. The subscription basically just lets you access features through the app; the car itself has all functions available regardless.
I’ve been a Kia Connect user for about 6 years now, and I’ve never seen any sale or discount on it.
It’s been a while, but I think they discounted certain tiers once a few years back. I do wish they’d offer better pricing—like maybe an annual discount. I only use it for remote start and climate controls, so $5 a month for just those features would be perfect.
When my complimentary one-year sub was ending, I was offered 30% off for a two-year subscription (highest tier). It wasn’t a public sale, though, and the discount link wouldn’t work for anyone else. No idea why I got the offer, but I took it. I guess I’ll see if it happens again next June when it’s time to renew.
