I was quoted $289/month for 24 months with 10k miles a year on an EV6 Light Long Range, with $1500 down. I didn’t get to check out all the details like the sale price, rebates, money factor, or residual value, but they agreed to the terms as is. This will be my first lease, so I’m wondering if it’s a good deal. Should I try for less down or ask for more miles?
Looks pretty solid to me! Check out Leasehackr to compare with their pre-negotiated deals.
Don’t put any money down—it could be lost if the car gets totaled.
Yeah, that sounds like a decent deal.
You should also ask what your buyout price will be at the end of the lease. I did a zero down lease on a Wind RWD base model, and the cost was basically the same as buying it outright. You’ll have to decide on mileage based on your needs. Your Light Long Range price seems close to what I paid for my Wind RWD, but I had to get mine shipped from another state because the dealers in Central Texas wouldn’t negotiate fairly. Ended up getting it from Ferguson Superstore in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Also, Leasehackr is a great resource. Don’t forget to add floor mats and a rear cargo cover to your lease!
As for a charger, don’t buy it from the dealership. You can find a Rivian portable charger for about $200 on eBay.
That sounds good! I just got a 2024 model with $2500 down and $220/month for 12k miles over 24 months.
