Need advice… which EV6 should I buy?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to upgrade one of our cars to an EV6 and could really use your advice on which option to choose. Here are the three I’m considering:

  1. 2025 Facelift Model: Long-range version with Prestige trim for $32,807 USD.

  2. 2024 Model: Long-range version with about 13,000 km on it, includes the upgrade trim and a trailer hitch, priced at $31,804 USD.

  3. 2024 RWD Long-Range Performance Prestige: This one has only 7,000 km, comes with a trailer hitch, and is also priced at $31,804 USD. It has the Prestige trim as well.

Leasing isn’t an option for me. I’d really appreciate your thoughts on which of these seems like the best choice. Thanks so much for your input!

How are you getting a quote for the 2025 model? I was at a dealership recently, and they told me they didn’t have any details about it yet. (I’m in the US.)

I wish we could get EV6s for around $30k here in the US (I’m on the East Coast).

Oh no, I think I made a mistake in converting the currency. The actual price is closer to $50,000 USD.

Apologies for the wrong prices earlier. Here’s the correct breakdown:

  • 2025 model is $50,989 USD.
  • Cars 2 and 3 are $49,433 USD each.

I’d personally go for the 2025 model. The main reason is the new CCNC infotainment system, which supports most updates over-the-air. It also has a slightly larger battery pack compared to the older models. Plus, with a new car, you get a full warranty. The small price difference makes it worth it in my opinion.
