I saw someone mention an “open and unresolvable recall” on the 2019 e-tron in this forum, but that post was over a year old and didn’t have any details or links.
I’ve been trying to find any solid info about recalls or known defects for this model. When I asked my dealership, they only mentioned a stop-sale on the VW ID.4 but didn’t seem to know anything specific about the e-tron.
Anyone here have updates on this or know where I can look up more about any open recalls?

Some 2022 models still have ongoing issues too. Could be other model years as well.
Your dealer can check for any open recalls if they run your VIN. Mine’s actually in the shop right now, likely for the same recall. There’s been a problem with some of the HV battery cells overheating, and they need to be replaced.
The process at my dealer was to run a scan, send the results to Audi, and then Audi identifies which cells need replacing. I’ve heard people say they had to wait months for replacement cells from Germany, but for mine, there was stock here in the U.S., so they told me it would take about a week.
