Rear speakers (amp blown?)

The rear speakers are barely audible no matter how I adjust the sound in my 2022 RWD Wind EV6 (US). The front speakers sound fine, but I’m wondering if the amp is blown. It’s surprising because I got the amp logic update (SA521) two years ago.

My best guess is that the amp may have been blown when they updated the software, but I didn’t notice because I don’t listen to music much, and the front speakers still work fine. Or maybe the amp failed after the update? Could it even be an incorrect software update?

If I take it to the dealer now, what can I expect? Is it an easy fix? Will it be covered under warranty? Will I have to argue to get it fixed? And are there any part shortages I should be aware of?

There is a setting to disable the back speakers. Check that out first.

“Quiet mode” could be the issue. Make sure it’s turned off.

Your vehicle should still be under warranty. If the amp is blown, the dealer should replace it, but you might need to wait if there’s a part shortage. '22 models had some early-adopter issues, so definitely use the warranty to get it fixed while you can.
