Weird audio issue — Bluetooth slows down external audio

Has anyone experienced this? Occasionally, when my iPhone is already playing audio (podcast, audiobook, YouTube, etc.) and connects to the EV6’s Bluetooth, the audio slows down significantly—like 10x-20x slower.

This only happens when the car starts, never during a drive. I don’t think it happens if I’m not already playing something, but I could be wrong. The only fix I’ve found is turning the car off and restarting it, which sometimes takes a couple of tries. It doesn’t happen often—maybe once every two weeks.

I haven’t tried with an Android device since I don’t have one.

For context: 2022 GT-Line AWD, ~40K miles (64k km).

TIA for any insights!

You could try resetting the infotainment system. Use a paperclip to press the small recessed button next to the volume control knob.

Thanks! I’ll reset the system next time it happens and see if it helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also found another thread discussing the same issue. Seems like it’s not just me.
