Will GM end up selling more EVs in US/CAN across its brands than Tesla by 2030?

With J3400 becoming the charging standard, I’m hoping other charging networks will be more reliable than CCS. GM’s switching to this port in 2025, and I think it’ll help a lot.

I’ve been using EA chargers for months in different cities and haven’t had any issues.

You’re one of the lucky ones. Not everyone has that experience with EA.

Is the resentment towards GM because of the bailout? I never thought I’d buy an American brand car, but when it came time to get an EV, GM had one of the best options. After test-driving a bunch of models, including the Tesla Model Y and BZ4X, I ended up buying the Equinox. The Lyriq was my top choice, but I couldn’t stretch my budget that far.

There’s definitely a vocal group of Tesla fans who dislike GM and other legacy automakers. They get annoyed whenever GM gets positive attention.

Yeah, that’s true for a lot of car forums. You just have to ignore them.
